Previously, Amanda lead BuzzFeed Open Lab for Journalism, Technology, and the Arts, an R&D lab and studio fellowship for artists and programmers inside in BuzzFeed's San Francisco bureau. Fellows had a year to work on creative technical projects that change the way we tell stories, engage audiences, or gather information. Amanda teaches data skills for investigative reporting at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and is launching a new project to bring powerful ai to investigative reporting.
